Last year, Beez and I celebrated our 5th year anniversary at Otto Ristorante. A fine dining restaurant located on Cowper Wharf, Woolloomoolo, it serves modern Italian cuisine, accompanied by amazing service. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the place and knew we'd be back.
About a month ago, Dimmi (an online restaurant booking network) hosted a flash sale with a 50% off your food bill at Otto so of course we jumped at the opportunity to go back and take some of our friends. Otto is renowned for it's spectacular Italian food and it doesn't disappoint. We had a beautiful view of the water and the CBD skyline and the place was dimly lit to create a romantic ambience. For entree I had poached veal grill, pepper seared tuna, smoked tuna aioli and fried capers - couldn't fault it. Main was a Great Southern braised lamb shank, beetroot, goat's cheese and horseradish - the meat was falling apart and melted in my mouth. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for somewhere special to take your significant other or even for a classy night out with friends or family. It is pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
