In honour of Colourpop launching their new Ultra Matte Liquid lipsticks this week (that I will be getting my hands on to review for you), I thought I'd dedicate a blog post to my current Colourpop collection. If you are a true makeup lover like me, you've heard of this brand, even though they are not widely popular - yet! - their affordable, yet high-quality products have made them a brand to keep your eye on.
Onto my collection!

These Colourpop lippie stix are so amazing for the price you pay. $5USD guys! Yes, I said FIVE BUCKS. The matte shades are super creamy and easy to wear, not drying at all and you can see just how pigmented they all are, no matter what the finish.
Tutu is a good dupe to LimeCrime's 'Salem' velvetine and has become one of my faves to wear in the winter time - I should let you know though that you can only purchase it in a collection. Some of my other favourites are Brink, for a pretty pink nude and Creature, a deep, blackened burgundy red, made in collaboration with @feralcreature on instagram. Confetti is also great for the perfect candy apple glossy red. All in all, I would rate these lippie stix a 5 out of 5 in terms of price, quality, pigmentation and shade selection - it's really quite easy to fill up your cart, just a warning.

Do you see the pigmentation on these super shock shadows?! They are to die for. I can't believe something so affordable (also $5!!!) could be of such high quality. Even some of my high end eyeshadows aren't this pigmented. That's so crazy to me. I have a mixture of ultra metallic, metallic, matte and pearlized finishes in my collection and they are all as amazing as each other. The formula of these shadows are so different, it's quite hard to explain. They're super creamy but aren't a cream shadow... they literally feel like pillows to the touch. I love using my finger to pat on any shades I'm using on my lid, they just go on that much more intense. I love each and every shade I've purchased so far and cannot wait to purchase more soon! The only thing with these is that I have to make an effort to use them, because they are all single/separate. When I'm in a rush I usually just grab a palette and work off that, so when I know I have time to get ready, I definitely pull these out and have a play.

I have two Colourpop blushes as of now in my collection. They go for $8 and are highly pigmented like the rest of their products. I use a stippling brush to apply these for a nice flushed look. To be honest, I don't quite reach for these as much as I'd like because you really have to watch out how much you apply. I have quite a lot of other blushes that I know I can build up and won't be too heavy on the first go.
In saying that, I still really want to purchase some of their new bronzers and highlighters and see how they go! For $8, what've you got to lose, right?
What do you guys think of Colourpop? What are your faves? Let me know!
Everything mentioned can be purchased here.
