ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS SHADOW COUTURE | WORLD TRAVELER EYESHADOW PALETTE.

Damn, you guys.
This may just be my new favourite palette. I received the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Shadow Couture palette early this week and have been dying to play around with it ever since I got it. I came up with this really girly, sparkly cut crease and paired it with a glossy, nude lip. These shadows are so, so pigmented and honestly blend like a dream. Even when accidentally picking up too much product (guilty), as soon as you start blending - mistakes are instantly fixed.
The shades in this palette drew me in right away and as soon as it was released, I made sure I didn't miss out. I haven't used every single shade just yet but I have a feeling that I'm going to be reaching for this palette and this palette only, for a long while.  I'm excited to use azure and heirloom, they both swatch so beautifully.
I only had half an idea of what kind of look I wanted to cook up with this palette and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Especially since it's only my second time doing a cut crease! I used soft peach and morocco in the upper crease as a transition shade and to blend out the crease colour, fudge to map out the cut crease, pink champagne on the lid and chic to highlight the inner corner of my eyes.
..and if you read all the way to here, SURPRISE! You can win your very own ABH Shadow Couture palette, and then we can be best friends and play with it together!

WEEKEND GRWM: DINNER DATE.

So I filmed another get ready with me video for you since my last grwm was pretty well received - stats wise. I was getting ready to go out for dinner in the city so I thought since I'd filmed a go-to day makeup look, I would do a night time version. This look involves a lot more products than my casual day look because I do like to go all out and it's my opportunity to play around with makeup! This is in no way supposed to be any kind of tutorial but I did include the names of the products I used in the video just incase anyone was curious.
Also, you can't tell in the video but it was damn near impossible to get anything done with these freakin' claw nails. I struggled so much harder than I thought I would while putting on my false lashes. Honestly, it must've taken me at least 15 minutes to get them on while trying not to poke my eyeballs out. Currently struggling to type this blog post too, but I love them so much so I'm putting up with it. Beauty is pain... Right?
Apologies for the choppy lighting, I was using natural light and the weather in Sydney has been crazy bipolar lately so it kept changing from overcast to straight sunlight. I was pretty hesitant to upload and post this because of the lighting and for some reason the quality changed whilst importing but thanks to those who pushed me to upload anyway! This one's for you.
Ps. baby hairs on fleek

BEAN BOOZLED CHALLENGE.

Thought I'd film my sister Roni and I do the bean boozled challenge! We've been meaning to do this for a while now but have been too busy on the weekend to do it (or were we subconsciously putting it off because we knew how rank it'd be?).
Something different and fun, I hope you enjoy!
