Introducing international fashion icon: Miroslava Duma.

Hailing from Russia, the super glam former editor of Harpers Bazaar Russia and current freelance writer has caught my eye with her super girly, always classy sense of style.

God I just wish I could leave the house wearing a leather maxi skirt, nude pumps and a Hermes bag - but even though I am almost always overdressed, my life is just not that glamorous!

I guess I'll continue to live vicariously through my fashion inspirations by the likes of Miss Duma herself. Below are some of my favourite looks.

BIRTHDAY WISHLIST #24

Ahh another year older. 24 years old in just under two weeks. 

I'm happy to say that I'm quite content with where I am in my life right now. Turning 24, two beautiful children, engaged to the most hard-working man I know with the best friends I could ask for around me. 

Turning a year older always puts things into perspective for me and I'm glad looking back, the good outweighs the bad. Blessed to be loving my life and everyone in it.

On a different note, (at a risk of looking like a materialistic biatch), I've compiled a birthday wish list just for the sake of this blogpost - not a hint to my family & friends I promise.

FIRST IMPRESSION | ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS ILLUMINATORS

They're here! The long awaited illuminators by Anastasia Beverly Hills have arrived.

Not gonna lie, I kinda stalked the shit out of these for their launch to make sure I got all four shades. I received these in the mail yesterday so I haven't had the time to play around with them although I have thought seriously about layering them all up on my cheeks just to see how far I could take it... Okay enough. 

Upon opening the compacts and seeing a full mirror and the unique design of the powders - I knew straight away I'd like them. So different to all the highlighters I own. Swatched, the powders come off very buttery and really pigmented. They go for $28USD each on the ABH website and personally, I think they are of really high quality and value for your money - as is all of their products I've tried. 

I wore Peach Nectar today cos it was the shade I was more curious about and it wore amazingly throughout the day. It's really only a slight sheen of peach, nothing too overpowering. I can't wait to try these powders with a wet fan brush - Norvina's recommendation for a higher intensity highlight. And you know I'm all 'bout that life.

Happy 27th birthday to my sometimes crazy, always "ruthless", Beez. I'll love you even when your slides slip off your feet as you walk... And even when you tell the checkout chick that I'm stealing the eggs because I forgot to take them out of the trolley (always up to your old tricks). 

But really - I'm grateful for you more than words can describe. You're more than my partner, you're my best friend. My babies' daddy. People like you don't come around every dynasty... & I intend on keeping you till the very end. I love you.

For this special post I thought it'd be appropriate to film the boyfriend tag with Beez so you can get to know us more as a couple. Little did I know that I'd get quite the surprise... All caught on camera. I apologise for the long video but watch it til the end, trust me - it's worth it.

I am OBSESSED with this khaki bomber jacket, I was on the ultimate hunt for the perfect puffy bomber jacket all throughout winter and even though I finally found it towards the end of the cold season, I did not hesitate one bit to pick up this baby as soon as I laid eyes on it. It pairs so well with this MinkPink basic shirt dress sent to me by MarketHQ and my new peeptoe heels. Such a comfortable outfit. Even the heels.

I am having an amazing time on this getaway and yes, I'm vlogging! It feels so good to have some quality time with my little family especially because Beez has been working like a mad man these last few months - he definitely deserves to unwind. Heading to a theme park tomorrow, can't wait to capture the kids' excitement on camera.
